In apps like Hiddify and v2rayNG you add routing rules: route specific domains, or whole countries via geosite / geoip rules, straight to the internet (Direct) while everything else stays on the VPN. You can also do the reverse – keep almost everything local and tunnel only the sites you need.
TCP fragmentation – sometimes called segmentation – is an option in your VPN app that helps it connect on networks with strict filtering. If your connection suddenly stops working – servers look online, but nothing connects or it drops right away – turning it on often brings it back. Nothing about your subscription needs to change.
